YES Alumna of the Year 2025
As General Manager of Te Tautiaki Hoiho Anna Campbell drew on her commercial expertise and passion for sustainability to protect the endangered yellow-eyed penguin. Anna holds degrees in International Business and Art History, and a Masters in Entrepreneurship.
Early career, alongside working at tech-success Timely, she volunteered to write a business plan responding to Cadbury’s closure attracting over 2,000 investors and $2M.
An advocate for equality and arts Anna has volunteered with UN Youth, National Council of Women, and the Hone Tuwhare Trust. Recently Anna was a delegate to the Graduate Women Trienniel in Zambia, and NGO representative to the UN Oceans Conference in France.
Whether cocoa sourcing in PNG or beekeeping in the bush, Anna fearlessly steps outside the boardroom and is driven by purpose. Currently a doctoral candidate at the University of Otago, Anna is researching the powerful call of the hoiho for sustainable transitions of industry.
